We have a new worship leader in our youth ministry. His name is Matt Monsoon and he came to us from Iowa City, Iowa.

I had the pleasure of speaking for his first night of leading. It was a phenomenal service. He is not only musically gifted, but very intuitive. His leadership was very obvious from the moment he stepped on the stage.

You know… it just doesn’t work to have a worship leader that is musically or vocally gifted and talented, but doesn’t know how to lead people. I think that anybody on stage and in front of a crowd has to be a leader first. You have to know how to have people follow you. And that requires a certain amount of intuition.

Anyway, I am excited about Matt and the role he will play on our team.
