New Bike

I picked up a motorcycle yesterday…. I’ve never ridden one in my life.
Bennett and Eric and I drove down to Kentucky because we knew a guy there that gave us great deals. We all 3 bought bikes.
I got a Yamaha V-Star Classic. All black. Entry level… since I’m a first time rider.
And everybody’s first question… “What did your wife say?” She was great.

This will sound funny, cause last night I was at a friends house and his roommate came home. He just happens to be an ER nurse, and he said that they had a motorcycle accident patient come in who severed one arm and both legs in an accident. He said that a typical day has two to three motorcycle accident patients come into the ER, and overall about 50% of all trauma patients are motorcycle related accidents.
Just thought I’d brighten your day :)

Don’t listen to that nonsense of motorcycle accidents. There is no better way to feel free than riding a motorcycle. I would thought a sport bike would better fit your style. I ride a Kawasaki Ninja with plans on buying something bigger when I return. Congrats on joining the club of bikers.

LOL @ Joel. Hmmm… a motorcycle. I dunno ’bout all of that. I still say that I will own a plane before I own a motorcycle. However, a four-wheeler or somthing along those lines I’m definitely down with.

I can see you riding a bike, Josh. Bennett on the other hand… I’m not so sure. It sounds like someone is having a mid-life _ _ _ _ _ _. Fill it in Benito’.

Dude, I am shocked that you baught a bike. I would have to say that you made a good choice though. That is one of the bikes that I have looked at for when I buy a new one. I am going to have to ride my bike over and go riding with you some time this summer…
