This is what happens when your alarm goes off at 4:30 am. I hit the French Press, the Chemex and the Espresso Machine.

Had to get a pic of my new nephew up on the site before I jumped on the plane. He’s 6 lbs. 14 oz. and perfect.

Here’s the best picture I took on the trip. It’s from Ledson Family Vineyards in Sonoma Valley.

So we decided not to head down to L.A. It was very disappointing, but the trip just proved to be too much. Our delays on Saturday definitely didn’t help and I just felt like I wouldn’t be able to get my job done if we went.
So Jo and I spent the day hanging out in Sonoma. I’ll be honest, I think this is the place to be in Napa Valley. It’s just a different feel - small town, California country, definitely liberal.

I spent the end of last week at our Year-End event at the Parker Meridien in Midtown Manhattan.
Seriously… I love New York.
I know some people don’t and could never live in the middle of a city like that. But I could. Get me a 65th-floor apartment overlooking Central Park. I would just have to figure out how to get the $4.5 million to pay for it.
The first picture is from the roof of the Parker Meridien looking north over central park. My business partner and I snuck up on the roof and he took this shot.
The next picture is from Times Square. We ran down there and spent about 10 minutes on Friday before we headed back to the airport.

Here are some quick shots from Edinburgh Castle.

Scotland has these hairy cows everywhere. They call them hairy coos. I was able to get up close to this guy and feed him some short bread.

Rosslyn Chapel is where they shot the last scene of The Da Vinci Code. Since then, tourism has multiplied about ten times. They are racing to restore the church and build visitor centers.

Probably one of my favorite places here is this old gothic church just outside of the castle.

Seth and I thought it would be a lot of fun to rent a kilt and the whole get-up and then pick up our clients from the airport.
But, no luck on finding a local kilt-renter.
I could just imagine the look on my boss’s face.

Seth and I took a great morning run and climb up Arthur’s Seat, a famous mountain/hill/look-out point in the middle of the city. You start off close to sea level and climb to almost 1000 ft. The view was amazing - Edinburgh to the west, the Firth of Forth to the east.
This is a shot of us at the top. We were the ONLY people in shorts and short sleeve shirts. Everyone else had coats and scarfs on and were pointing and laughing at us. It was probably 45 degrees at the top.

The view of the city from the top with Edinburgh Castle in the background.

Hollyrood Park surrounds Arthur’s Seat and has some pretty cool views as well.

It’s kind of cool to walk out of your hotel and look at a medieval castle.
What if everything you had in life fit into eight black plastic trash bags?

Just a few more shots.

Here a few pictures from my trip last week to Wisconsin. I stopped off in Milwaukee for a rest and bite to eat.

Here’s a shot of our newly renovated stage during our Christmas series. This picture actually doesn’t do the set justice. We had 19 lighted trees on stage with no ornaments. It looked like the Narnia forest.

I’m not sure about this one.
